Dem Obstruction: Crossfire Hurricane, Hillary’s Emails, Rich’s Laptops…

WHEN I SEE A HEADLINE, “Seth Rich’s Laptop to Be Turned Over by FBI, Judge Rules,” I wonder what the agenda really is, i.e., what story is being covered up with this incongruous placement in my RSS newsfeed, though I may just be being my cynical self. (Did I really first learn of this story way back in ’17?!)

On Wednesday, Texas Judge Amos L. Mazzant ordered “a timeline for the disclosure of information on Seth Rich’s personal laptop, Seth Rich’s work laptop, the DVD and tape drive within 14 days following issuance of this Memorandum of Opinion and Order.” This means the feds must hand over two laptops (work and personal) to the plaintiff that were owned by the decedent, among other items.

The order is, of course, referring to the DNC staffer, Seth Rich, then-27, who was killed on 7/10/16 returning home late at night in Washington, D.C.. He was reportedly on the phone with his girlfriend when shots were heard at the time. The public was led to believe it was an attempted robbery, but absolutely nothing appeared to be missing. Rumors, or evidence, depending on one’s bent, surfaced that Rich had publicly leaked thousands of DNC emails via WikiLeaks concerning alleged involvement of Russian hackers in the election of President Donald Trump and was killed as a result, or as a part of, a cover-up, depending again on one’s bent. 

Over the years, attorney Ty Clevenger has been battling the F.B.I. to get FOIA material on the case for his Texan client, Brian Huddleston. Also over the years, the F.B.I. has lied through its collective teeth, mainly by denying the existence of any materials on the case when, in fact, it had in excess of 20,000 pages of information that was likely responsive, and 1,595 directly so, to Huddleston’s request. That was back in 2017. By late 2022, the court entered an order which required the F.B.I. and D.O.J. to produce information on Rich’s laptop and documents relevant to the FOIA request. More stall tactics ensued, ad infinitum…

With Wednesday’s latest order, we should be able to finally start to get a resolution to this. If not, we’ll need to redraft the FOIA and put some teeth into it so that violators, like the F.B.I., pay consequences commensurate to what its victims do when they lie through their teeth. (Attention, Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) et al.!)

Now, what stories are really out there today—being covered up like this one?

Coincidence is the Exception, Not the Rule, Especially in Clintonland.

COINCIDENCE SEEMS LIKE SOMETHING Egyptian-born, Saudi-raised, Turkish-descended novelist Soheir Khashoggi, who now resides in New York, would know a little something about. For someone whose family name translates to “spoon-maker” in Turkish, her father coincidentally did well for himself by becoming the physician for King Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the founder of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Her brother, Adnan Khashoggi, also coincidentally became a renowned arms dealer (think Iran-Contra) and was dubbed “The Great Gatsby of the Middle East” for his lavish lifestyle until his death in 2017. Adnan had a nephew named Jamal Khashoggi, born in Medina, who became a journalist and dissident before he was coincidentally assassinated in 2018 at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, presumably on the orders of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who was displeased with Jamal’s hopes for (small-l) liberal reforms, including freedom of expression, from the Arab Spring. Jamal received the Time “Person of the Year” award in 2018 along with the moniker, “Guardian of the Truth.” Adnan also coincidentally had a cousin named Dodi Fayad, who was Diana, Princess of Wales’ paramour until the two coincidentally killed in a car accident in Paris in 1997. (Fayad’s father, a billionaire who had, among other things, owned Harrod’s, firmly believed the two were assassinated by MI6, perhaps at royal behest, out of embarrassment of the relationship.) But back to Soheir. She has authored several novels, translated into multiple languages, none of which I’ve read. But one might suppose they have some good thriller elements…

One need not venture to such distant lands to experience coincidences in such a manner. We have our own here, à la  the Clintons. It’s now reported another coincidental accidental death of a Clinton associate has transpired. Specifically, 45-year-old reporter, Christopher Sign, who revealed the Bill Clinton/Loretta Lynch secret tarmac meeting in 2016 was found dead in his home on Saturday. Clinton and Lynch met secretly in the wake of presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s scandal involving her use of a secret, unauthorized personal email server while Secretary of State under then-President Barack Obama. Police have claimed Sign committed suicide, but that is inconsistent with recent observations of the gentleman, who was a network anchor, Emmy winner, Edward Murrow Award winner, and a happy family man. Just coincidentally, the Clintons seem to have known an awful lot of people who were suicidal. A partial list is here or here.  

SCOTUS Punts. *Again.*

IN YET ANOTHER DERELICTION OF DUTY, the United States Supreme Court denied cert. to Judicial Watch’s hard-fought case trying to hold Hillary Clinton accountable for her unauthorized, illegal use of a secret, private email server for business while she was Secretary of State under then-President Barack Obama. 

JW simply wanted Clinton to testify under oath, something she had managed to arrogantly evade for years at this point. Any other defendant would be subject to deposition, but it is evident the law is just for the ‘folks,’ not royalty. 

The case began with a Freedom of Information request which directly led to the server. After political and legal maneuvering, exactly a year ago, U.S. District Court Judge Royce Lamberth finally authorized JW to depose Clinton, her former Chief of Staff Cheryl Mills, and two other State Department officials on the matter. Clinton appealed to the Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, using an emergency writ of mandamus, which ruled in her favor. JW sought review of that decision at the Supreme Court, which was unfortunately unsuccessful. Its writ of certiorari was denied.

After the bad news was delivered, JW’s President, Tom Fitton, had this to say: 

“Hillary Clinton ignored the law but received special protection from both the courts and law enforcement. For countless Americans, this double standard of justice has destroyed confidence in the fair administration of justice. Americans would never have known about Hillary Clinton’s email and related pay for play scandals but for Judicial Watch’s diligence. We expect that the Biden State and Justice Departments will continue to protect her and cover up their own misconduct as we press for additional accountability through the courts.”

Fitton is right. Biden will continue the cover-up. And why not? He, too, is corrupt. It’s been known for some time that the Clinton Foundation was on the take for millions of dollars from seven foreign governments when she was Secretary of State despite the fact the foundation had agreed in 2008 to forgo foreign donations during Clinton’s tenure. The countries who ‘donated’ were among the richest in the world, including Qatar and Kuwait and their neighbors Oman and Algeria.

Slippery Hillary Skates Away From Accountability Yet Again.

Hillary Clinton was skating on thin ice until Friday when the Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit overturned an order of the District Court which had ordered her to sit for a deposition about her unauthorized use of an unsecured private email server for government work when she was Secretary of State in the Obama administration.

Just in time to be buried amidst news of the spreading Covid-19 virus, the 50 basis-point federal reserve rate cut, the Democrat presidential candidate drop-outs, and polls leading up to Super Tuesday (or “Super Thursday,” as Joe Biden erroneously called it in yet another fit of dementia), we got good news for those still seeking the truth about the Hillary Clinton email scandal.

Clinton Email Investigation Concludes. No Indictments Yet.

 

The Daily Caller just reported that the Clinton email investigation has concluded. In fact, it concluded on September 6th, and the report was dated September 13th.  The report wasn’t sent to Congress until this week.

5 Years Later, Still Awaiting Justice in Hillary Clinton “Matter”

For years, Judicial Watch (JW) has been tirelessly trying to obtain information on Hillary Clinton’s emails and on her conduct in Benghazi, but the fight has been akin to extracting the canine teeth from a ferocious, un-novocained, and rabid pit bull.

The investigation into the Hillary Clinton email scandal proceeds apace and at due deliberate speed.  Recently, for example, we learned Clinton’s emails were sent secretly to a fake gmail address and it seems they got into the wrong hands.

Hillary Clinton has been dubbed “the smartest woman in the world” by her wide-eyed, empty-headed proponents. They admire her gutsy fight past the glass ceiling into the intimidating and unwelcoming world of power-brokering evil white men.

Some of us were never convinced. And we weren’t all white men, powerful or otherwise.
